Basesix Integrating Technology for New State-of-the-art JSU Football Complex
With spring training just around the corner, Basesix is busy completing a wide array of low voltage work at Jacksonville State University’s new football complex.
The new state-of-the-art, two-story football complex demanded expertise from Basesix on almost every system we offer. We installed, terminated, and tested 180 data cables, installed fiber backbone, ran 45,000 feet of A/V cabling, integrated video surveillance and access control measures, and installed a Notifier fire alarm system.
The new building will replace the current field house at JSU stadium and will include 10 suites, the team’s locker room, a player lounge, training space, and offices for coaches and football operations staff. The complex will also be home to a football hall of fame featuring the JSU football program’s history and accomplishments.
Project completion is expected this summer, just in time for football season. Basesix is excited to see the new football operations complex in use, and we’re ready to send a “Go Gamecocks!” to the JSU team this fall.
