U.S. Courthouse - Greenville, MS
Basesix is pleased to be providing a comprehensive security solution for a new U.S. Courthouse in Greenville, Mississippi.
The U.S. Courthouse will be located in the historic downtown area of Greenville - the city’s original business district - near the east bank of the Mississippi River. Constructed by Robins & Morton, the new 55,639 gross square foot space will house two courtrooms and three judicial chambers.
As a government facility, the judiciary center must meet an array of advanced security standards. Basesix is prepared to meet the challenge and will be providing extensive access control, intrusion, and video surveillance systems to provide the utmost security and safety to those within the courthouse.
Occupancy is expected by summer 2024, with tenants including the U.S. District Court, U.S. Clerk of the Court for the Northern District of Mississippi, U.S. Magistrate Court, U.S. Marshals, U.S. Probation, Federal Public Defender, U.S. Attorneys, and the General Service Administration.
The U.S. Courthouse is expected to play a key role in encouraging the revitalization of downtown Greenville, all while serving as a center for the delivery of justice and public services. Basesix is proud to support the needs of our justice system alongside the community of Greenville, Mississippi.
